There is a story related to this photo...
We were on our way home on a curvy highway.
As we goes around this big curves, we starts to a deer on the opposite direction on the highway.
It is dragging itself off the road, as its back legs seems to not functioning...
Then we looks over at our lane on the highway, there are broken pieces of bumper on the road....
We slow down and try to avoid all the pieces.
Less than a minute later, we see a few cars parked on the side.
One of the cars has its corner of the bumper completely rip out.....
We was thinking about stopping, but realizes we are not going to do any good since alot of people already on the case...
A friend said depend on the faith of the deer... if it's lucky the wild preserve or ranger will make it in time, other wise... putting it out of its misery will be the best way for it....
Let's just say every time I see that sign
the image of the deer, trying all its might to drag itself off the highway flashes in front of my eyes.....
using its head and his front legs and struggles to get away...
I apologize for perhaps might bring down your mood in the middle of the week...
Anyway...

good one
However, I am very impress by your father and you.
Without the two of you, those poor deers would left rotten on the road...
which only makes it more disrespectful to the animals who lost their lives because of our lifestyle and technology....
I really appreciated what you and your father did.
Thank you
But I noticed, that not all countries have people, that pick up dead animals from the streetsides. I was on a vacation in Italy about 5 years ago and I noticed that there were dead animals lieing everywhere on the roadsides. And not just wild animals, but also dogs and sheeps which really gave me the creeps. If this wouldn't have been enough, it was only one hour per foot outside of the capital city, Rome.
that's definitely sad to hear....
I hope eventually people there will notice it, and start giving these animals the respect they deserve.... not being treated like dirt even after death....
Your father and you already did a good job
one step at a time, just gotta keep spreading that message
eventually people will change.
just keep being awesome the way you two are!
